Residential Children’s Home Registered Manager £43,000-£46,000 annual salary plus bonuses
Send your CV & a brief cover letter to hr@codacare.co.uk
The role
We are recruiting for a Registered Manager for a brand new solo occupancy home in Thornton-Cleveleys. The home will be registered to support children with a primary need of EBD. This is an exciting opportunity to gain the experience of working towards the registration of a new home. The successful candidate will be fully supported in their role to write the home’s Statement of Purpose, Locality Risk Assessment and set their own vision for the home. We believe this is an excellent opportunity for current Deputy Managers or experienced Team Leaders/Seniors who are looking for career progression & an exciting new chapter. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a Registered Manager position for a company that prioritises safeguarding and quality of care for children and young people above all else.
About us
Coda Care registered its first home in September 2023. The home recently had its first full Ofsted inspection, which was rated as “Good” in all areas, with no recommendations or requirements. The staff team have been settled and we now feel ready to proceed with plans to open the second home. We are committed to providing the very best care for the children and young people placed with us and we recognise we cannot achieve this without excellent and stable staff teams in place.
About you
Are you a current Registered Manager looking for a fresh start? Are you keen to open a brand new home and have full autonomy to hand-select your own team and run your home the way you'd like to run it? Or perhaps you're a highly experienced Deputy Manager who doesn't currently have any opportunity for progression in your current role & you feel you're more than ready to be a Registered Manager? If so, we're keen to speak with you to learn more about your vision. Registering our new home in Thornton-Cleveleys, you'll be given full support through the registration process, support with documentation, the opportunity to interview & hire your full staff team, and be able to set your own vision. A commitment to the safeguarding of the young people in our care is a priority.
Benefits
In return we are offering a salary of £43k - £46k (depending on experience). Your bonus will be performance and Ofsted rating related. We are not about “heads on beds” and do not agree with Occupancy Bonuses. We want our homes to offer the best quality of care and recognise that KPIs should be less focused on occupancy levels, and instead they should be more focused on factors such as the retention of carers delivering support and care for the children and young people in our homes, as well as feedback from other children and young people, services and other stakeholders.
· Opportunity to be part of a brand new registration with full support with this process
· Share your vision for the home and be involved in recruiting the team specifically for the home
· Full training and support
· An opportunity to spend time learning processes and procedures within our first home prior to registration
· General 9am-5pm Monday – Friday working pattern (with flexibility to meet the needs of the home)
· Join a growing company who are planning sustainable growth to provide further career opportunities, without compromising quality of care
· Opportunity to be enrolled on the Level 5 diploma for those that don’t have the qualification, but have the relevant experience for the role
· Performance and Ofsted bonuses
· Enhanced Health Plan Programme
